This payroll tax is a foundational source of funding for public transit in France. Relevant legal texts from the administration have been translated here to be a reference for any English-speaking person that may be interested in transit funding. The document includes notes and summaries so it can be understood by those with little to no knowledge in the French system.

The Knowledge is a little browser memory game I made and connected to this website. The goal is the same as the London taxi driver course that I got the name from: given two random metro stations you must find a valid route including which lines to take, which directions to take them, and any transfers along the way.
I had the idea for some time to memorize the entire metro network just to flex that I could navigate without apps or maps. I eventually did memorize it when playing the excellent memory.pour.paris and it also pushed me to actually make my own game.
